Taking Back My Crayons

"Everyone is born creative; everyone is given a box of crayons in kindergarten. I pulled out my crayons (my camera), this weekend. I  forgot how freeing it feels to color wildly outside of the lines.

Nolan starts t-ball. He was SO excited. "Am I allowed to hit a home run Mama?"
 "Absolutely baby, always aim for the fence," I tell him. 

Cole and his best buddies play fall ball. I LOVE to watch these boys play for the complete joy of it.

We took the boys to Carter Mountain in Charlottesville to go apple picking. The sun was very harsh for photos, the apples slightly bitter to eat but to hear Cole say, "I thought this was going to be totally boring but it is really fun", worth EVERY 26 pounds of apples that are sitting on my kitchen counter.

  1. Beautiful shots...not too bright at all. You are an artist. Love every shot. And I LOVE concord grapes...yum We used to have them in vines in Dville...but no more :( Do miss them though. xo, M
