Farewell February

Is anyone else just over February? It feels as though February is a month we tolerate, a month that is a necessary hurdle at the end of a long race to spring. I start to grow restless in February; I am tired of hibernating under layers of clothing and the lack of sunlight has me researching seasonal affect disorder lamps on Amazon.

I am ready for March to begin on Friday, I don't even care that the weather is forecasted to be in the low 40's. So long February, March is taking over from here. This is the month that spring will arrive and that tricky, green leprechaun will come sliding down the rainbow; the Easter Bunny will bring my favorite black jelly beans and my hydrangeas can finally begin to bloom without fear of torment from Jack Frost.

And with the month of March brings baseball (I hear Cole screaming downstairs as he announces the Yankees lost another preseason game) and of course March Madness basketball which in my world translates to the boys screaming at the television and basketballs bouncing off my ceiling fans. But the good news is Derek Jeter is back on prime time, the sun is peaking out from behind the dreary clouds and I am starting to stockpile chocolate bunnies and marshmallow chicks.

Love & Light,
Stacy

Here are some photos from last week.
It's a pancake sort of day.
Cole eats his pancakes whole, plain and round and Nolan likes his cut up with extra syrup!
I saw this on Pinterest. Take the cinnamon rolls in a can (oh yes, no homemade dough here)  and unroll them and re-roll into hearts. So cute and super easy.
A few photos from Cole's first grade play. He was so cute.

Here is the You Tube video of a song his class sang, http://youtu.be/s2RxdXpNK6Q. It is really a video that only parents or grandparents will appreciate, but cute nonetheless. And no, their play The Big Chill is not a remake of the 1980's movie (much to all your disappointment).
