A Cut Above

Brian cut the boy's hair today. It seems as though their hair grows faster in the summer, maybe it is the countless hours of sun and water. When their hair grows, Nolan's locks become shaggy and overgrown, Cole's dirty blonde mop gets fluffy and big. If either of the boys had the slightest bit of curl I would attempt to have them grow it out a bit. Alas, they are both miniatures of their father, therefore with stick straight, fine hair, a short 'do' is a must. And I think there is something winsome about boys and crew cuts. I do remind Brian when I schedule a hair appointment for myself that because he cuts his own and the boy's hair, the money we save can be put toward MY hair. Isn't this fair? If we had girls, we would have to start a hair reserve in addition to their college savings. There are benefits of being the only female in the house, I don't have to share the 'beauty maintenance' fund with anyone.

Here are some photos from today.

Love & Light,

Stacy

Nolan waits patiently for his turn.

Brian says Nolan's hair is harder to cut. Softer & finer.

Cole looked younger after his cut. Nolan looked older. It was funny.
